Position Title: Milling Set Up Operator

Shift Assignment – 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)

Pay: $23.29 $1.50 shift premium totaling $24.79/hour

The Job:

As a Milling Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee.

You’ll get to:

  • Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals

  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals

  • Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI

  • Properly fill out all documentation and labels

  • Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds

  • Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality

  • Flexibility to work overtime

  • No written disciplinary action for violation of company policy, production or safety within last six months. No written disciplinary action for attendance within last 12 months.
